Position: Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Position: Permanent Full time- Part time
Hours per week: 28- 38hrs
Hours flexible: Monday- Saturday, 7.30am-6.30pm.
Mentoring and up-skilling will be provided for Junior staff. Weekly team meetings with positive team culture. We offer a generous salary with additional bonuses towards annual professional development and monthly bonuses based on performance.
Location: Move Clinic, 102 Camp St, Katoomba NSW
*Occasional local home-visits required.

Our patients and clients represent the diverse population of the Blue Mountains community from those requiring acute and chronic musculoskeletal injury management, WorkCover rehabilitation, NDIS patients and high-level athlete conditioning.

Job description:
Conducting individual initial and follow up assessments with clients of a varied caseload including pre and post- surgical management, musculoskeletal injuries, gerontology, pain management, disability and sports injury management, cardiorespiratory and metabolic conditions.
Opportunity to conduct exercise groups with varied mmsk, neurological and cardiorespiratory pathologies, older populations, healthy populations and athletes.
Develop treatment plans for private, NDIS, DVA, Medicare and WorkCover patients.
Communicate verbally, write reports to relevant GP’s, receptionists, specialists and other Move Clinic team members regarding treatment progress.
Actively participate in weekly team meetings and professional development.
Administrative duties: report writing and clinical note taking.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology or equivalent
- Accreditation with ESSA in Exercise Physiology
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Current SIRA Approval Number or be eligible to apply for one
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check
- Police Check
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
- First Aid/CPR certificate
